I was reminded of this episode when I stumbled upon this clip on Scott Kurtz’s website. Good stuff, Sci-Fi goes beyond laser beams and space ships sometimes.

Hey Tricks,

Hope everyone likes the latest comic. This is the first comic I used my tablet PC from Motion Computing. It’s a few years old and low on RAM, but hey how is a working class comic artist with a less than impressive bank account going to afford one of these machines without a few compromises? Surprisingly Photoshop CS3 runs remarkably well, and the stylus and touch screen provide me with better hand eye coordination than a Wacom USB tablet. Not only that, but the same dissolution of awkward  drawing allows me to complete the line work in a fraction of the time, and also gives me more freedom and options. Unlike the Wacom tablet I can turn this tablet PC upside down, to the side, whatever I need to get a decent perspective quickly without doing my best to draw upside down. Good machine, good investment.

Game wise I just beat Starcraft 2 and the final stage is frustrating, fun, and fast paced. It only made me look forward to future installations from Blizzard. Hint for newbies: with the exception of a few missions including the final one, a massive army of marines with full armor and weapon upgrades will destroy enemies without remorse.

Hope everyone has a good week :)
